These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FirstRep mobile app and website ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use FirstRep. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow under-18s to use the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information when registering, keep your password confidential, and notify us of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or that you do not have the right to share;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
• Misuse automated features (such as AI food scanning) to abuse, overload, or extract the underlying services.

4. Health & fitness disclaimer

FirstRep provides general fitness and nutrition information for tracking and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice. Calorie estimates, macro values, and AI-generated workout programs are approximate and may be inaccurate. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise or nutrition program. You use the Service and act on its information at your own risk.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (such as progress photos and logs). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. We do not sell your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase, Cloudflare, and OpenAI. Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms where applicable. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstRep and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
